STAY IN VENICE IS TO TURN ON THE SPOTLIGHT ON 'THE OPENING Saturday, March 12
great anticipation for the evening gala March 12, 2011 at 18 will open to the public and will kick off the exhibition of the 110 finalists the fifth edition of the International Art Prize Arte Laguna, one of the most important happening of contemporary art, which is characterized by the high quality the proposed works, the focus on emerging talents as well as partnerships with business.
Focus of the evening will be the awarding of the 5 winners, 37 winners of the exhibitions personal in gallerie italiane e straniere, 4 Artist in Residence, 1 Premio Business for Art, la menzione speciale della stampa e l'assegnazione delle partecipazioni ai Festival Open e TinaB.
La collettiva presso l'Arsenale raccoglie i lavori dei 110 artisti finalisti suddivisi tra pittura, scultura, arte fotografica, video arte e performing art, mentre la selezione dei migliori artisti Under 25 avrà uno spazio pr ivilegiato in una mostra allestita presso l'Istituto Romeno di Venezia.
Il giorno successivo 13 marzo alle ore 11.00 si terrà a guided tour with the curator of premium Igor Zanti and to follow a debate open to all.
